Make some time for reading and celebrate Australian Reading Hour! Join Sally in conversation with fellow author Lisa Ireland as they discuss all things books and writing, thanks to Australian Reading Hour. At our bookish morning tea you can expect one whole hour dedicated to reading, as well as plenty of tea, coffee and nibbles.
Be part of the experience this Reading Hour as we come together to celebrate bringing the written word to life. We will provide the script and will assign parts on the day — no knowledge of the play beforehand is required. This event will feature guest readers presenting selections from their favorite short stories, poems, plays or chapters of a novel.

Bring a book and cosy up for one hour of blissful reading at Mister Munro. From the old masters to the new breed of popular Instagram poets; poetry inspires, informs, challenges and touches us. Join us for a discussion of the poetry we love to read again and again. Poetry enthusiasts, curious novices and wary poetry sceptics all welcome! Children's Books for Fall
Children, bring your favourite snuggly for stories and fun with Emma, Big Bear and friends. Parents and carers are encouraged to read a story with their children too. Date : Thursday 19 September Time : am — am. We will have ambassadors from local sporting clubs and other guests dropping in throughout the day to see who reading and share their own reading experiences. You never know who will be calling by…. Drop in any time between 2pm and 3pm for a silent reading party. Bring your own book or choose a new one!
